Im ngl, the shrieking violin of doors gives this nostalgic vibe of old cassette tape horror movies Its a fantastic style for a game taking place in a infinite motel I love pressure as much as the next guy, but the vibe of doors is just a step higher for me And I gotta respect it for being the inventor (or at least the popularizer) of the formula used in pressure

I mean he’s not giving a credit where credit is due first off pressure is aware that it is very similar to doors. It started off as a fan game but evolved into something different unlike doors. It has a lot of Easter eggs and variety of rooms and variety of Easter egg rooms a lot of the entities have more replayability to them in a way like eyefestation if you flash it with a flash beacon, it’ll become angry and if you do it again, it will be com livid or something I forgot, but every time you see it from then on, it’ll be that level the more angry it gets it harder. There’s also more unique enemies like the wall crawler will come from the walls, and if you don’t look at it before it gets to you, it will kill you. Also, if it gets killed by one of the anglers, it’ll drop in the item that you can eat giving you a health boost then there is the anglers there’s the basic one which is basically rush there’s pinky which screams very loudly, but will not turn off the lights so you have listen to the scream not the lights there’s blitz, which goes by very fastly and there’s chainsmokers. I don’t really know what they do but they leave behind a trail of green mist and have a noise like a railroad track and then there’s frogger which is like ambush all of the designs for the monsters are scarier in my opinion the ambience is a lot scarier too. Sometimes you can’t tell if the creek from the black site is a monster or the site falling apart.

Pressure definitely has some of its ups compared to Doors. One of the bigger ones is the fact Angler is so diverse, 5 different ways it can behave (Froger is the worst) is something nice The pull of Eyefestation, while annoying sometimes is something nice and adds more to just “look away” I kinda like Good People more than Dupe. More of a challenge when facing anything with Good People (until Angler comes of course) And can’t forget.. Sebastian

I like pressure because it has ACTUAL lore, way less boring monster designs, and the thought of being in the ocean along with those MAJOR boss fights it’s just so much better. doors is so boring compared to pressure now that it’s released every entity in pressure has a whole document just of their lore too. the idea of a shark having multiple eyes and FORCING you to look at it is way better than a floating picture of eyes that you simply don’t have to look at. everything is better and no one can tell me otherwise

I believe the only reason why people say that “pressure is better than doors” is not because of the gameplay but because pressure has actual lore unlike doors where it just kind of throws you in the hotel and there’s no backstory whatsoever. I must say I like the lore and the files gimmick that they implemented in pressure but gameplay wise I kind of prefer doors

The only reason I'll agree is that in some form or another, *for some reason or another,* *_Angler_* (its equivalent to Rush/Ambush) *_is fucking bullshit for me._* I will never beat Pressure until the day I die, and it's because Angler always finds SOME way to fuck it all up. Either its entry will be masked by Eyefestation or someone else and by the time I realize it I'm dead, it'll sometimes attack WHILE YOU'RE UNDERWATER, immediately after Pandemonium leaves you alone if you're unlucky like me, and you won't hear it until it already killed you, or sometimes you just won't have literally anywhere to hide. God forbid if you're very late into the game, where you have very, VERY limited time to stay in a locker, and Froger or Chainsmoker come by. Especially in the latter's, as it moves so slowly that you may very well be forced out right next to it and die. I want to love Pressure so much, and it's in a lot of ways better than Doors outright, but at least Doors is 100% consistent.

Is the fact that his arrival is so delayed and is just so god damn infuriating when you get in locker at the wrong time and you have to wait 10 seconds to get out of the locker then another 5 seconds to get inside the locker and by that time you will probably die because of the exhaustion mechanic where you can’t enter a locker for a couple of seconds. His fumes which are the ones that cause the exhaustion affect to take take off way early than it originally does are just not fun to go against fucking pandemonium is easier to deal with than the angler fuck it 90% OF ALL MY FAILED ROUNDS IS BECAUSE OF THE ANGLER. He is a cool concept I just wish it was easier to deal with him or understand that he is coming in some way easier other than that every monster imo is great there’s much more variety which is more than welcomed and I’m all for it
