So, more information about the psychological side. The memory loss is a part of "Dissociative", specifically dissociative amnesia, it' what happened when a person is under a lot of stress that the mind cant handle no more, falling into a state of denial as a defense mechanism. Usual dissociation symptoms, in gamer term, being like u gone into auto pilot, or someone else steal your controller and left u as a spectator (Depresonalization). During this, the person will be acting differently kinda like a NPC or have a new different personality, some instance; opposite gender voice, different age, rude, cocky. Some have recollection of what happened during this auto pilot, some don't (Derealization). On to the delusional, if the symptoms isnt 6 month or longer, it would be just delusion. if it more than 6 month, i cant really tell which it this belong to ngl. it's prb Major Depressive Disorder with Psychotic feature. Depression usually come with another metal illness. I inferred from the last scene which the MC is sad. info from DSM-V, with some gamer terms.
