To play this game you mostly just need to have experience playing it, you learn from playing but for newer players I recommend going to the wiki and searching up how to get your class, or watching a starter guide to learn POIs, the hardest part about the game though is the fact you have to deal with other ultras just murdering you for no reason

I’ve been playing rogue since it was created and I have lost ultra classes countless times I have experienced everything bad and many things good at the same time I just hit ultra spy on my Gaian and got spared by 2 hackers the game has traumatized me for life and given me Ignis related PTSD as well but succeeding regardless is satisfying enough to keep me going
