This is likely to prevent account hijacking’s from sending robux to other people. The whole reason pending robux was added in the first place was to verify it’s legitimacy and to hold it off in the case of an account being hacked and robux being sent from that hacked account.

@@DerpySleepyhead A small deterrent to discourage people from Hijacking and a decent time frame to get in contact with roblox support if something goes wrong IMO. 3 days IMO isn't that bad as you can fairly easily get around it by paying 3 days earlier than when you were initially paying out. People will have to now plan ahead more than developing in the moment. Im thankful to Chloe for making this video as im now informed and can start adapting to the changes.

Though I still feel like 72 hours is a bit excessive, but I appreciate roblox trying to keep our robux safe and stuff? This is probably to prevent or delay transferring robux from hacked accounts so you would have time to contact roblox about it or even cancel it.

The only way that this could be useful is if there is a "cancel payout" feature that could prevent scams or something, but to be fair; if you own a group that can actually give people robux, you're probably not stupid enough to fall for a scam ran by an 8 year old anyway.

Roblox is making this probaly because of other sites or groups of robux, on Brazil overhere it's the best thing to do, because robux is very pricey, so you go overthere on the site or group, type your username, the amount of robux you want, them you send the payment, after that a mod of the group or site goes there and sends you the robux by group or by gamepass, but mostly people choose group because it's faster, now the only way to get robux immediatly is by roblox and this is bad i mean 30 bucks for only 400 robux, like i can't even do an avatar with that, Roblox is falling down on greed and that's not good...😥
