@Rowan Chamberlain Well, no. It’s actually from the Cartoon Network show “MAD”. Where in one episode, there was a Thomas & Friends + Unstoppable parody, called “Thomas the Unstoppable Tank Engine”. And in one scene, Lightning Mcqueen and Mater are seen about to go over a crossing while saying the lines at 4:59. But instead of NFR 7449 hitting them, it would’ve been Thomas, who would yell shortly after : “I’m sorry about that! I’m unstoppable! It’s a medical condition!”.

Well no because every American and almost every European locomotive got system which automaticly stops train if theres no response from the operator. Every 60 Seconds a Red Light turns on on the indicator and annoying sound is playing. Operator should then click big red button to stop the train from automatic stop. (Yes im a railfan)

Differences with Unstoppable and this video. 1: Uses a different locomotive than in the movie. 2: Engineer of 6999 survives but the driver in the movie doesn't. 3: The runaway train derails but the AWVR 777 doesn't derail. 4: In the movie AWVR 777 is stopped but in the movie after the wreck its scrapped. 5:The conductor of 1206 isn't injured after he gets his foot caught in a coupler.
