Roblox is a gaming platform that is extremely popular among younger children, with over half of its users being under the age of 13. Daily active users increased by 31% to 47 million in the third quarter of 2021, compared to 36 million in the third quarter of 2020. These people are also playing more, increasing the number of hours engaged by 29% to 11 billion. Roblox's appeal comes in part from the fact that it includes a variety of games, some of which include virtual worlds (the metaverse) where players may interact with one another. Roblox allows millions of children to socialize without ever leaving their homes. Kids are notoriously fickle, so Roblox's job will be to keep these players as they get older, hopefully preventing them from leaving the platform in favor of the next big thing.
Roblox VS The Sandbox: Wich one is better?
The Sandbox has partnered with Ledger, a France-based hardware crypto wallet business, to help increase crypto awareness and education among metaverse gamers. The partnership was announced by Ledger during the Non-Fungible Conference, which is presently taking place in Lisbon, Portugal. Education about cryptocurrencies and security, according to Ian Rogers, Ledger's chief experience officer, is critical. According to reports, the Sandbox has over 500,000 users as of November 2021, and the platform had made $93 million in revenue.
The Sandbox is best known for its two big mobile hits, The Sandbox (2011) and The Sandbox Evolution (2016), which together have had over 40 million downloads on iOS and Android. Pixowl, a mobile game developer/publisher, decided to transfer its popular User Generated Content gaming IP and big community of artists to the blockchain environment in 2018. The goal of the Sandbox is to disrupt existing game developers such as Minecraft and Roblox by giving creators actual ownership of their creations in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and rewarding them for their contributions to the ecosystem.
The Sandbox has a very strong brand and social component, with notable residents such as Snoop Dogg, A$AP Rocky, Deadmau5, Care Bears, The Walking Dead, Atari, The Winklevoss Twins, and numerous others buying up land in its metaverse.

Agreed roblox coding is for pros that can actually code. Sandbox is just lazy coding.

@@SirLad500 yeah, and overtime sandbox games are gonna be boring since the games that players make aren't unique to other games since they dont code and they only use the things that are in store for them that the devs gave them.

Hmmm I don't know much about sandbox but, the reason I am not a sandbox user is because Sandbox need more storage and take more time to load. I can't even run the game at 15 FPS. but maybe that is because I play the alpha 2 version Also sandbox could be more safety than Roblox because there was a big Verifying thing and also Sandbox don't really look good for kids (To me) "because the avatar and the players based my experience" so level of kids playing sandbox is low. Unlike Roblox that always try to keep us safe but always invite kids without giving them a big clear warning.

Roblox has now shifted to a more mature audience with the introduction of voice chat and 13+ games in my opinion.

in terms of graphics and variety of games roblox is better because of coding, sanbox is easier to use, but its blocky style has a limit and no coding makes it have less variety, devs in sanbox are paid more percentage than roblox. and that is all i know

The sandbox is a litteral cheap ass copy of roblox made only to get pople to buy NTFs, it is nowhere as good as roblox, knowing the fact that the sandbox was made purely for NTFs, i thought it had potential to be as good as roblox, but its buggy, its boring, its dead, and its sole purpose is use ntfs to make money.

also heres a little comment that explains some shit + its a crypto and nft scam: this game sucks so bad. Its trying to only profit out of the players. Its using your email to contact sponsors to send you like 60 messages a day. Its using crypto and NFT as an "Metaverse" and its literally a trash ass knock off. It is very poorly made and sucks. Roblox is honestly better in every way.. (even though Roblox does still make mistakes sometime) This is ass..
