Guess what happened during the making of RoboCop? The iconic RoboCop suit was originally designed by Rob Bottin and his team. However, the production team wasn't entirely satisfied with the initial design and made multiple changes and additions to it over several months. But in the end, they realized that Bottin's original design was the best after all. Unfortunately, this back-and-forth caused significant delays, and the crew ended up shooting non-suit scenes for two weeks while waiting for the final design. Finally, when the suit was ready, it took a grueling 11 hours to fit Peter Weller, who played RoboCop, into it. Surprisingly, Weller found that all his mime exercises were of no use with the suit on, as it required an entirely different way of moving and performing. Production had to be paused so that Weller and his mime coach, Moni Yakim, could adapt and learn how to move convincingly like a robot in the suit. Crazy, right?

Well, yes, but you can see a mighty difference guardians 3 and antman 3, both have effort put into them to make them a movie, but james gunn has put in a lot more effort and love into making guardians 3 unlike the director for antman which is just used to make money and expand tbe univerae in a meaningless way.

Peter Weller originally prepared for smooth and flowing movements, like watching a ballerina in a dance. When he finally got into the suit he realized the suit was far too heavy and stiff for that to be possible. The suit was so heavy the scene when he's sitting in the cop car you can actually see he's not wearing the pants of the suit because he couldn't easily get in and out of the car while in the suit.

I think most of the problem with the 2014 version is the lack of an r rated, like the original 2 Robocop movies. Then there's the fact the studio heavily restricted too much of the director's, Jose Padilha, creative decision. Same guy who had done Elite Squad movies, Narcos tv series, and The Mechanism tv series. All either R Rated or MA, except for Elite Squad 2 which wasn't rated.

The 11hrs was only the very first time. They had to put it on him piece by piece and make adjustments as they went in order for it to both fit properly and maintain its movements without pieces scraping off each other. Once they had it all set it used to take about two hours to fit him after that. Still a long time but then again it used to take the various actresses who played Mystique in the Xmen movies up to 6hrs each time and they could only film for about 2 hrs before the paint began to wear off due to sweating. In fact they had to keep the studios cooled in order to make sure they could even last that long. And then there was Billy Connelly, he took up to 4hrs to get done up for his role the Hobbit 3. These people go through torture sessions sometimes.
