The stop motion adds so much to this scene because it gives the impression that Kane is awkwardly stumbling around and his new body which he is not used to moving around in 😮

They had no time to test him and his brain is still addicted to nuke. Had they just flash cloned his neural pattern into the robots neural net he wouldn’t have that weakness.

Love the ratcheting sounds when Cain moves certain parts, the "whirr" of satisfaction he feels when he gets his nuke high, the otherworldly sound of the electrical discharges after his CPU/brain is destroyed. Classic.

The stupid cops there with useless pistols. They should have had military grade equipment, beyond the armored aliens style cruiser. If they had the tech to make him, they had the weapons to take him down. Their incentive is their reputation and the lawsuits. But I loved Robocain. I think the fight could have gone on longer, with Robo getting some stronger weapons to make it more interesting.

What I love about the film Robocop are the realistic design-function relationship in the details of Robocop's body, for example the hydraulics on his legs and neck, the hidden gun holster in this thigh. It's not just a science fiction but sets possibilities in engineering and technologies. Add to this FX the cool targeting system in his visor...which is similar to today's weapon techs.

"Cain" you upload more Robocop goodness for your fans? There's nothing more thrilling than like indulging in some good '80 action movie nostalgia! I'd buy that for a dollar!

Robocop 2 was a decent entry and underrated at the time of its release unlike the disastrous Robocop 3

I wonder how much ram it would take for a robot cop to scream in agony for 30 seconds after the main cpb [central processing brain] gets ripped out.

I love this scene but after a while I noticed that Kane's brain is too small. When Robocop holds up Kane's brain, it should have been twice as large, or a bit under.

Robocop is a masterpiece. But it still makes me sad to watch it. Because there is still a family that was destroyed by this. That wife, their son. Imagine having that happen to your dad. Imagine having a hunch that your dad was still alive stuck in a machine. Also I love the 3rd Reich imagery in Robocop 2.

В ремейке Робокоп 2014 года там никакой трагедии с семьёй не делали. Робокоп вернулся к жене и сыну. Сынок даже был в восторге что теперь его папа робот.

It's also the reason he got picked for their Robocop Program. OCP assumed they could control Cain through his Nuke addiction, and whilst they were... not *entirely* wrong to believe that, they SEVERELY underestimated just how badly things would go if Cain ever got loose, and SEVERELY overestimated the usefulness of Nuke's ability to control him, especially with Miss Psycho seeming to think denying a half-insane murderbot his vice for extended periods of time is a good idea
