I received mine yesterday, it's excellent. Roborock really knocked it out of the park with this one. I don't need obstacle avoidance and I actually disable it on my robots that have it since I don't have pets and I pick up a few things before running any of my robots. I can't believe Irobot is currently charging $1399 for the combo J9 Plus. In my opinion that is a rip off. No Lidar navigation, no mop spinning or vibration, and no mop washing or drying.

I had L10s for a month then returned it. It had an issue with dry mopping, trouble getting back on the dock and navigation was bad and got lost few times. The Q revo look to have the identical mop design as L10s. I don't recommend the L10s.

S7 Ultra has been so reliable that I don’t even have notifications on or pay any attention to it. I deep clean the base and swap out the pads monthly, replace the water when the red light comes on, and that’s it. If this can give the same sense of autonomy, it’s totally a deal at the price. Look out for Prime day deals soon! I would like to see a maintenance review to see how involved the base cleaning is. Having water in the base, I found the Narwal T10 easier to maintain as it has less moving parts than the S9 Ultra. Thanks for the great reviews!

I think the Revo is even easier to clean then the rest as the cleaning base just pulls right out and you wash it under the taps.

How is the mopping ability? I remember no machine can clean the 24 hours coffee stain in your previous tests.

what would you say is better the Q Revo or the Narwall Freo? they both around the same price atm ik the narwal does not have a self-empty-bin mode but to me that's not a deal breaker over all what does a better job in vacuum and mopping?

You remarked that you had high carpet and the Q revo is able to lift without wetting the carpet. Since I know you have an S8 as well, and it supposedly doesn't lift as high, is it also able to keep the carpet dry?

I have very thick carpet and it does look very close but it doesnt get them wet. any other thinner carpet would be even better.

When it goes back to the dock for mop mid cleaning does it also empty or just clean the mop?

you can make it auto empty when it returns to dock

I do not think that it did. Only when he job is complete which I still don't know why it doesn't every time. I will pay more attention next cleaning run and let u know for sure.

It’s because one of the manufacturers has a patent on that feature. Roborock can’t legally implement that.

Yes u can… You can select vacuum only or mop only in the app. You can also select that the Q Revo first vacuums all and then afterwards mobs all. Or both together (vacuum+mob)

Don’t get fooled. I compared t20 vs revo vs s8 pro . Don’t get fooled by the obstacle avoidance marketing by these companies. All of them failed to recognize cords and cables. All the vacuums ate the cords. You won’t be able see any major difference in vacuuming between the units on day to day use. Revo and t20 has the best mopping experience. None of the vacuums failed to clean up dried stains. They all do a decent job in mopping up gooey sauce of the floor. You will have to do 2 cycles to get most of the residue off. I went with revo. You can’t beat the price and it pretty much does what the t20 does but it has better software and overall it performs better

Did you see a difference in the mopping between the Revo and the T20, noting that the Revo has onboard water but then the T20 has hot water ?

Bad obstacle avoidance is a big fail. Regardless of how good it does everything else. Many will not buy it or will be returning it because of this.
