Thank you for all your robot sweeper reviews! I've been following your channel since Feb 2021 when I first started my research into getting a robot sweeper. I have 3 dogs, one a golden retriever, and keeping up with the shedding hair required me to sweep 2 to 3 times a week with a standard sweeper. With 2,600 square feet this took up a lot my time that could be used elsewhere. I decided the brush design of the Roborock S7 was going to be my best shot with dealing with long pet hair. When I saw your video mentioning that the S7 was $200 off for Black Friday I made the leap and purchased one. I have had it for 3 weeks now and the wife and I absolutely love it! I run it every other day and I never see dog hair dust bunnies on my floor. Most of my house is hard wood flooring or tile so the mopping works satisfactory on them. My only minor thing with the mopping is the streaks left behind on the hard wood floors from the water which is most notable on sunny days when the light shines in. It's not a big deal since my floors are a light color wood. I think as long as I run the sweeper every two to three days I will not need the self emptying system. Keep up the great reviews and God bless!
@RobotMasters3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and I am glad the S7 been a good cleaner for the most part. Not sure how Roborock can address the streaking, maybe change up the mopping pattern? They could revise the mopping pad to prevent streaking.

This man sold me on the S4 a few years ago. It was absolutely fantastic for my condo and has saved me so much time. Time is the most valuable non-renewable resource we possess so the price was completely justified. Just bought a 2700 SF house so I think ill go with the S7plus as the S4 seems to only be capable of mapping 1 floor. Nathan, is the S7plus capable of multiple maps? Do you know how many? Thank u so much for these informative videos

How do you like it? We have 2700 sq ft carpet, tile and vinyl. One Persian cat and 1 girl. Concerned about pet hair and ability to clean carpets. Any issues with emptying the dirt bin or hair breaking or getting stuck on rollers etc? How is the maintenance? Does it auto detect when the on-board bin is full and go back to the base for a clean or does it keep cleaning but doing a poor job because the bin is full? Does the robot detect when the outside waste bin bag is full?
@MrBlueCreeper3 жыл бұрын
I think it's time that I give a huge list for Roborock's Future Models! Roborock should add: -D Shape Robot -A new VibraRise with 2 very fast spinning mopping pads to where it can hide inside the robot when it detects carpets -Reactive AI3D, combining the twin AI Cameras and 3D Obstacle Avoidance for a true obstacle avoidance technology. -A base that Self-Washes the pad, Self-Dries the pad, fills the water tank, empties into a BAGLESS cyclone system, and has a touchscreen bar on the top. -A built-in voice assistant inside the robot so people don't need to buy one. Maybe call it Rocky. -At least 4000 PA Suction that exceeds 24 CFM Am I missing anything?

Well well you read my mind 😂, yes those are basically the features I am looking for too. Some other things would have the ability to transition up and down stairs, maybe have the ability to pickup small objects on the floor and place them in a designated area too!!!

Can you use the vacuum only independently without running the mop and vice versa? Do you have to leave off the mop pad and water tank? When I originally set this up, should I install the mop pad and fill up the water tank?
@RobotMasters3 жыл бұрын
So when you initially mao I recommend leaving the mopping pad off, you can leave the water tank in. As for using the mopping feature, I recommend washing and drying the mopping pad after use. If you have thin profile carpet and rugs than it should be fine to leave the pad on.

hello, but emptying station aside, the s6 maxv is not better and smarter ???
@RobotMasters3 жыл бұрын
From my testing, I didn’t see a huge difference in navigation abilities. It did avoid smaller objects better and has the live camera feed option. As far as cleaning the S7 seemed to clean better on thicker carpets.
@danyelcosta26783 жыл бұрын
@@RobotMasters ok thanks :) but considering that I don't have carpets at home, only a very small one, and I don't need the self-emptying function, is the s6 vmax better there? what do you say ?
@RobotMasters3 жыл бұрын
@@danyelcosta2678 The only reason to get the S6 MaxV is if you have a lot of obstacles or have a messy home. Some other options are the Roborock S4 or S5 Max, if you want to save a few hundred dollars and don’t necessarily need the extra features.
@marcusgrande38753 жыл бұрын
I have the S6 MaxV and I was in the same boat. I needed it only for hard floors and a low-pile rug. I could live without the bin on the hard floor. I'm pretty happy with the S6 MaxV. Great navigation, and the front-facing camera is a nice add-on if you're ok spending the extra. If you have indoor pets and pet waste then the AI object avoidance is definitely a plus that you won't get with the S7. Also if you're away from home it's kind of nice to use it to look around the house and make sure everything's ok. Can double as an indoor security cam. Also, if your hard floors are sensitive wood or some other sensitive material, you may need to be wary of the harder brush on the S7. I actually had a Roomba S9 that I was using on the hard floor and found it was scratching it. The harder rubber rollers would get dirty and were not liking the glossy finish we had put on the floor. We relegated the Roomba to the carpet areas (our house is 50/50 hard floor/carpet) and use the S6 for the hard floor. It has a softer brush and doesn't scratch. After my S9 experience I didn't want to take a chance with the S7 all-rubber brush. If you have tile floors you're probably fine either way. See Mr Roomboto for some videos on the harder rollers potentially scratching (he has a demo on the Roomba S9+ showing it scratch).

Do a Deebot T9+ vs S7+ when it comes to your region. I have T9+ and know what it can do. The osmo pro water cleaning system on T9+ is truely top notch like the robot it self.
@jonnylee85383 жыл бұрын
Nah, Ozmo Pro is not as practical as the one on S7 SuperSonic mopping. As S7 ones already integrated on the robot itself and can use washable mopping cloth to mop not just disposable ones. Ecovacs lacks of many features that other brands have. The app is sluggish.

Well the water on the mop pad eventually comes out, takes awhile. So my recommendation is to have it mop the area at least 2 times, so it can insure good coverage.

Roborocks rule! I have an S4 and a Roomba i8 (Costco i7). The RR finishes the job much faster and doesn't slam into things like the Roomba does. Also, the RR is a lot quieter. I also have an iRobot M6 and am not impressed with its navigation abilities either. The ability for RR to navigate in low or low light is another advantage the Roborock has over the Roomba.

I'm very keen to get a Roborock S7 but one thing that concerns me is the availability of genuine parts like filter replacements.
