My only worry about the ping pong defense strategy is that the reef zone is protected, so that may allow robots to pass through that area. It might not be as much of a choke point as it seems

what i was feeling people are just going to abuse that rule to make "extra points" also the space in general can fit at least 2.5 robots

after seeing the beginnings or Ri3D it's looking like a coral meta. I'm inclined to believe climb will be rare in the start and only reserved for worlds. Additionally, it's looking like a algae might be the sleeper

algae gives strong sleeper vibes, but i think 20% robots in week1-2 regionals will have deep climb. atleast from my experience outside of US

Coral early, but the best scoring positions on the reef will fill up eventually. At a high level, it'll be decided by who most efficiently uses algae and really good defense.
