在遙遠的未來，
機器人「羅伯特•斯溫」受盡人類的奴役，獨自在酒吧消愁。
身為非人類，羅伯特難以和酒吧中的人類互動。
這時，他卻看到了一個外貌亮麗的酒保，
「喔！好美麗的人類啊」羅伯特想，
「也許我能成為她的朋友嗎？」，
這是羅伯特自被創造以來第一次感受到希望，
