Yeah, I'm also pretty sure those 3 in the HRR weren't the first volunteers either, but they didnt want to get embarrassed by Panic Attack, Chaos 2 and Firestorm killing the house bots in 1 minute. That said it would have been awesome if as Stinger were being destroyed at the end, the doors opened again and Chaos 2 came out like "dont worry, I got this, I can take all three of them"

People overlook the fact that these house robots were built way back for series 1 (series 2 for Killalot). Meanwhile, the general standard of robots had increased substantially by this point, with weight limits for standard bots lifted to comparable weights of the house robots (barring Killalot). Consequently, it's not a discredit to the house robots that the very best standard bots stand a good chance of beating them. If they had srimechs as well, they'd be even deadlier and could deal with flippers, but building srimechs onto house robots would be to acknowledge their weakness, which is not in keeping with their image of authority. TL;DR - The house robots are great and deserve more respect. But Razer, Chaos 2 and Hypnodisc would destroy them! ;D

House Robot Rebellion is real classic robot wars! Such a good battle with the house robots showing their prowess over the foolish competitors! Tbh though it was hardly a challenge for them! Stinger we knew would give them some problems due to how sturdy it is, but Plunderbird has hardly been known as a good robot (especially with that flimsy crusher on Plunderbird 5!) and Scorpion looked good but had basically no offensive weapons. The other fights here are decent for the most part, bit of a shame that Thermidor 2 died in the Tag Team Terror battle, as I like the robot and it's pretty powerful. Ming 3 looks impressive too and the crusher actually did something against Mega Morg which was good to see, though it's not a scratch on what Razer could have done I'm sure! The challenge belt battle was obviously going to be in favour of Tornado, as much as I like Comengetorix as a robot, there was no way they were beating Tornado. Mayhem was fun, albeit with a lack of burnt Diotior! Panic Attack was obviously going to be the winner, though I wonder how much damage Shear Khan could have done if they were better driven or slightly more lucky to get to attack Panic Attack with that roller weapon.

I'm confused... Tornado doesn't have a weapon. that "spinning blade" isn't a weapon. All it can do is scratch. Seems like a flat rotating disk.... If anything, it's "weapon" its pushing capability

@@andersonhill3484 because Bitchnado shouldn't have been allowed to use the cage (judges said so themselves years after the fact, at the time they wanted to make it more of a fair fight because Razer would so easily win) They never told the committee about the cage until it was welded onto their bot minutes before their fight, forcing them to allow it, or to delay the match. Once it was allowed once, it was allowed every time, even though it clearly violated the rules by not fitting in the pit. They claimed it did, but we know for a fact it didn't. = illegal. And even then, it got it's arse handed right back to it, but the producers thought people would get tired of watching Razer decimate everything it came across and wanted to make the tornado fanboys happy. If you think there's no one telling the judges who to pick, then.... idk what to tell you. Do you think Bitch Doctor or Tantrum deserved a chance to win the giant nut in Battlebots, too? Because that finals should have been Hydra and Minotaur, every damn time.

This series gets lamer all the time. Trying to fake up some fighting talk between Ming and Mega Morg. Who cares? JP's mouth was running faster than the bots. Tornado walked all over Comengetorix, as expected, with only minor interruptions when the stupid house robots got in the way. The tag team, I'm betting on the team that has Thermidor on it. The other three bots are so-so. But THermidor promptly broke down and the rest of the battle was confusing. I couldn't remember who was on which side, I'm not sure if the bots could either. The mayhem - Panic Attack vs Sheer Khan vs Diotoir - was a joy to watch. A textbook example of how to do it, Panic Attack style - you don't need extreme high speed or a super destructive weapon, just extremely good control of the machine. And then PA almost did it to Shunt, too. I love Panic Attack. Um, that so-called robot rebellion - I would have liked to see three really destructive robots taking on the house thugbots. Hypno Disc, Chaos, Razer, maybe (the really destructive robots didn't appear till later seasons - Carbide, Aftershock, Apollo, Eruption, Magnetar). Instead we got Stinger, Scorpion and some other one. So what was the point of that? So Tornado and Panic Attack, definitely the highlight of this ep.

This was Robot Wars Extreme. The whole point of the Extreme series was to run events that wouldn't normally happen in the standard championship. They decided to make it more tongue in cheek than the main series to reflect the fact that it wasn't a competition. Extreme allowed both the teams and the production to mess about a bit more and just have fun. The normal Robot Wars series were the proper championship battles, and this is like a bunch of friendlies and fun games. Tbh though, even in the main series, very few competitors got properly angry or upset, because it was expected that everyone should be sporting and shake hands on camera, even if they were inwardly fuming. The only notable examples of teams getting angry were Mortis in series 1 and Razer in series 4, and both teams still get chewed out for it today. Mortis felt the judges decision was unfair, and Razer were annoyed that Pussycat damaged several expensive components after they were fully immobilised - alleging a gentleman's agreement against that. People say Mortis were sore losers and Razer were being hypocritical given that their weapon is known for shredding robots.
