Robot Wars Series 4 War of Independence Upscaled

The second of the "slightly" upscaled series whereby I attempt to get the quality of the audio and visuals to improve. Once again, took ages and messed up half way through resulting in a restart! So yeah...

I'm glad we had a rematch between Panic Attack and Mortis considering what happened in Series 2 (aka producer bullshit), but that was a really good fight.

What are you talking about? That controversy didn't have anything to do with Mortis and Panic Attack's first battle. It wasn't even "producer bullshit" at all - Mortis almost fell out of the Trial stage in a needlessly cheap way; because of a spike that shouldn't have been active in the entrance way. That's why Mortis got a second and proper chance, and Rob Knight was so modest and generous that he was even _against_ getting that second chance. Besides, which robot had the fatal lowest score as a result? Napalm; a robot that shouldn't have even been in that Semi-Final in the first place. The latter's victory in its Heat final over Demolition Demon - THAT was bullshit.

In this rematch, the producers wanted PA to win and the disputed with the judges, so it's 2 battles mixed into 1. The producers were acting rather hypocritical considering how much they wanted Mortis to win!

@@joeandrews7329 I do agree that Mortis really deserved to win this competition. My annoyance is that the producers (unless they changed) had considered Mortis a favourite, now decided they wanted Panic Attack to win; Arfa confirmed this on a forum, even the fact that the battle had actually been fought twice and the televised version mixes both.

And even then it took an unfair judge's-decision victory, in a brief tournament with some poorly selected robots (choosing trash like Detonator to represent the UK over Chaos 2, Razer, Pussycat, Hypnodisc, Behemoth etc!? Lolwat).

I don't wanna accuse him of anything, but the way Craig "crawled" onto that poor lady from 11:38 on is alittle weird and she seems to be VERY uncomfortable with it... especially when he puts up his leg and then also bends over to the boy :D Edit: for the second fight she didn't even come up there anymore... coincidence? Idk!

Nah they were taped different days you can tell as the pits are not detailed aesthetically in their first fight. Most likely she was unable to attend the next day of filming.
