BIG NEWS: Thanks to the great help of Diotoir's (not the robot) KZbin channel, Series 2 is now fully scheduled to be uploaded! Before today, I only had the first half of the Heats ready to convert, but Diotoir has been able to provide Heat I on wards and has kindly transferred the files over to me. Massive credit to him, which will be provided in all of the necessary uploads. Series 6 Heat J: 1:53 to skip the spoilers.

This version of Dominator came to my primary school in 2002 and when they tried to demonstrate it against a washing machine it wouldn't work then they remembered to put the link in lol

This version of Dominator 2 has to be one of my favourite robots in the history of the show. The design is simply gorgeous, and the robot itself has this great habit of building up steam as the battle goes on. The result is a close battle that goes the distance and always shows great driving skill from the Dominator team part, to aim a weapon that acutely is no small feat.

I like the design of the robot but this was a very poor heat for them. I think they got lucky 3 times, the battle against Hydra was the only one where they looked good but honestly they’ve had better battles and I feel bad for the hydra team because I think they were extremely unlucky.

Strange that the second group battle wasn’t halted when Warhog damaged the arena side wall

They weren’t halting the fights this season. Thry didn’t stop the fight when S3 buggered the wall in its group battle.

One of my favorite heats of Series 6. I wanted Hydra to win but Dominator 2 proved to be the better robot in the end. Also the bit where Growler smashes into Dominator and SMIDSY is a classic moment.

At last the best episode of series 6 well in my opinion. Not to mention my favourite robot wins the heat. And ooo growler what a slam you gave but it’s impressive that smidys was the one to die to that slam considering growler hit dominator 2,

Sumpthing was counted out for having a wheel stuck when dominator 2's right wheel wasn't working for at least half the fight

Just for reference, both SMIDSY and Dominator 2 were nearly killed by that slam from Growler. That impact split Dominator's base plate clean in half and twisted SMIDSY's frame completely out of shape to the point where only two wheels were touching the ground at any one moment.

A good reason to ban Growler from the arena. It's not a competitor, it shouldn't be taking a hand in fights.

D2's most impressive performances are in this heat IMO. The axe is back to doing real damage again after the decent, but slightly underwhelming S5. It absolutely battered SMIDSY and Hydra to death. Even after starting on the back foot. The previous low quality uploads of this heat really didn't show off just HOW much damage D2 was doing to its opponents. Hydra was absolutely full of holes at the end of its fight with them.

I know what noise you mean, and it also occurs in the Comengetorix v. Hydra fight. I remember hearing it when I watched the episode on TV, so it's not from the upload. Not sure what it is.

I don't think this Hydra is related to the ferocious flipper of the same name in Battlebots. Dominator has to be the favourite. Though Hydra with its lifter could be dangerous. And Hydra starts off extremely well, flipping everyone else and getting quite a few flips in on Dominator. Second heat is a bit of a confused free-for-all with random bots flirting with the Pit. Well, Smidsy definitely did best, pitting both St Agro and Warhog. Dominator vs Smidsy. Well, Dominator is going to have to improve quite a lot if it's going to beat Smidsy. And Smidsy started off in full Tornado mode, pushing Dominator all round the arena, eventually Dominator got in enough axe blows to slow Smidsy down (and maybe Growler contributed to that). I think Smidsy did enough early in the fight but it was close and the judges gave it to Dominator. Hydra vs Comengetorix - two very similar robots. I like Hydra for this one, based on its performance in the first heat. Well that was definitely Hydra's, on style damage and aggression, they completely outdrove Comengetorix. Hydra scored numerous flips, Comengetorix none. Not even close, despite JP's inane comment. So, Dominator vs Hydra. Based on the first heat, Hydra has got to be the favourite. Also, it would prove JP wrong. But Dominator seems to have got its act together for this one. Sad, I liked Hydra.

You want to beat Dominator 2? Can Razer? Cause I've never seen Razer fight Hypnodisc, and Razer was beaten by Pussycat. So for me, it would seem, there's a strong chance they could be very even.
