What makes this extra interesting is unlike the normal chat bots versions out there, you can actually have a verbal conversation with it. And now Loona has a voice! Not just those beeps and facial expressions.

@ninifire4282 Do you have one? If so when you tell it to switch to ChatGPT mode it now verbally responds to questions. And in the beta OS I'm in the test group for it can now use ChatGPT without haven't to switch modes (there there is still a pause and animation as ChatGPT kicks in).

This is cool. They need to have a way where chat gpt is always enabled on the robot. Its immersion breaking having to tell it to utilise chatgpt. Very cool to see this technology integrated into a pet robot. Does the robot save the convos so it remembers your convos/questions like it does online?

Did you try to speak to Loona in an other language when she is in chat gpt mode? I know that works on computers and smartphones, but I never saw it on a robot.

I just ordered Emo but now I’m thinking if I should cancel and order Loona instead. I wanted the most interactive one with sort of Alexa capability. What does everyone prefer in terms of AI and talking capabilities, but also in terms of reliability being that it’s not a cheap toy and if it breaks your screwed lol.

@@echofloripa Emo is currently in testing with chatgpt and connects to Wi-Fi as far as I’m aware. I love Loona too, but seems more like a dog robot while Emo is more like a person that walks around your desk. I will probably end up buying Loona too anyway lol

I an interested in buying Loona to adapt as a ChatGPT assistant. Can I switch off some or all of the noises it makes and divert its voice to Bluetooth headphones? Can I also reduce the Loona level of activity so it is not distracting? Would you also know if Keyitech are releasing a SDK soon?

Not a Bluetooth speaker. I don't think you can manually reduce the movement. I haven't gear anything on SDK.

Can't wait till it has access to current data like weather, etc. Hope they maybe add also Alexa so you can flip between what features you need, as it seems pretty easy to integrate judging by all the cheap 3rd party speakers out there with it.

At the moment Loona is the only domestic robotic firm that officially announced ChatGPT integration but we are expecting from EMO robot and EBO X anytime soon and been dialoguing with Robot Creator DX (Kebbi). EMO & loona are around £300, Robot Creator DX is about £1000 and EBO X you can pleage for around £500-600 on your own risk. Luckily most of the robots I have are sponsored so have to be very neutral on this unfortunately. Hope you understand 😶
