Love it. Now it just needs a magnetic coupling to a BLDC and you'll have something to take on Festo!

I also found my original magnetic gearboxes. They are the next video.

That is genius, simple and amazing effect. I totally need to make one. You have some very interesting designs.
@PaulGouldRobotics3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Please make one. Bending the wire to create the wave generator was not easy.

Whoa very cool. New papers on fast start motion in guppies may be able to give that design a major "shove" off at first movement :)

is there a way that this robot can work remotely without a drill?

very cool. How did you come up with its design?
@PaulGouldRobotics4 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I can't remember, it was 10 years ago. I've seen designs similar in the past few years.

@@PaulGouldRobotics I see. I thought there may have been a specific method. Anyways cool stuff again. I'm really into biomimetics so this was great
@PaulGouldRobotics4 жыл бұрын
@@Rctdcttecededtef I would have made many prototypes and this is the one I kept. I also like the biomimicry designs. Have you seen the mini robot hand. It is my favourite design.

@@PaulGouldRobotics I dont think I have? I am currently following "will cogley's" development on his robotic hand. You should check him out if you haven't already

Can you make a video on how to design a cycloidal drive pls
@PaulGouldRobotics4 жыл бұрын
There are already a few videos of how to draw a cycloidal gear. One problem is that you draw them differently depending on which CAD package you are using.

i have a question ¿ At the end of the tail wnat keeps the wire from sliding out from there ?
@PaulGouldRobotics2 жыл бұрын
It is constrained at the body end.
@sergioramirez90792 жыл бұрын
@@PaulGouldRobotics Could this work if the tail was longer about 3 to 4ft ? Taking in consideration how narrow it starts from the tip of the drill to the end is wider.
@PaulGouldRobotics2 жыл бұрын
@@sergioramirez9079 Yes. That could work.
