WOW! So far he is the best Roboto ever made IMO. I even like how there is even some kind of weathering texture in his helmet, at least that's how it comes across on camera. Can't wait to have him in my collection and can't wait for your Stratos and Frosta review. Great video as always.

I fixed Roboto's attachments. Took my electric hand drill. Found a bit basically the same as the peg. Gently drilled little at a time to hollow out the hole til it fit peg not so tight. Now they switch perfect.

Love this Roboto. The only thing I would change are the boots... to a more 200x thicker boot/foot.

It's not just the shiny red forearms, the helmet side profile and the arc-reactorish chest piece are definitely taking a leaf from Tony Stark's playbook too.

I was thinking of a Roboto vs Colossus comparison when you called him Iron Man. Now I want a MOTU/X crossover/amalgamation. Stratos/Angel, Frosta/Iceman, Tri-Cyclops, Duncan/Forge, Beast/Man, Teela/Jean, etc.

Thanks for another great review, guys! Your comparison helped me realize that the collider pays homage to the orange and yellow gears at the bottom of the vintage torso. Talk about economy of space! The collider and gauntlets def give Iron Man vibes, but he IS a "Metal Man," so it checks out! I have a 200x Roboto I want to keep in package, so I'm really looking forward to picking this guy up. Masterverse figures look great alongside 200x or Classics figures, and the larger scale works perfectly for inhuman characters like Roboto and Moss Man!

When Masterverse packaging was originally revealed my first thought was the front was very boring. It's not an eye catcher walking down the toy aisle. I'd probably have collected the line if it were better.

I collect mostly MOC, and have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it showcases the figure, but if you display it on a wall, you cover up most of the artwork!

The Classics version of the 200X head was great but did not work on the Classics figure. Not because it wasn't 200X accurate - but because of the way too skinny chest/torso on the Classics body. The metallic look was a good choice for the Revelation figure considering the plain physique & lack of texture in some areas. It basically looks as expected, being a Revelation based toy. Wonder if he'll make appearances in the 200X Origins & New Eternia lines. With proper attention paid to design, there are opportunities for stronger Roboto figures to come.

Michael here: Yeah...the Revelation figures are basically ripped right from the cartoon. I don't see him making an appearance the 200x Origins line and I am not sure he has a different enough concept for New Eternia but it would be great to see a Classic Roboto in Masterverse!!!

@@ToyHabits_com probably too much retooling for both. ... It would have to be an entirely approach than the other 200X Origins. A New Eternia version would be even more of a longshot & would have to lean less into the vintage concept side, but that could be an opportunity to come up with something interesting . Just depends how robust they're looking to make the line.

I think I may be the only voice of decent here, but I find this version of Roboto to be rather boring. The super dull attachment, is the hole sized to fit the blast effects from either the origins Stridor or sky sled?

What's wrong with you guys? Nothing special or awesome or cool that ROBOTO has the same Trap Jaw legs with another color! That's totally awful and lazy by the amateur Mattel's sculptors! Or the ones that design the new concepts for the Revelation cartoon...That specific detail of the legs arent attached to a ROBOTIC aesthetic...

Michael here: Um…nothing…we like the figure and this is how Mattel has built their figures since the beginning with part reuse. I’m assuming you are not a MOTU collector by your comment as you would have this issue with any MOTU figure since the 80’s
