I think they should’ve used a different mold for her. One of the coolest things about Strongarm is that, unlike Arcee, Elita 1, Windblade, and just about every other female Autobot, she’s not the slim agile speed build, she’s a bulkier solid strength build. She was bigger than Sideswipe and Drift! She’s not a sports car, she’s a tough all terrain police truck, let her be big!

I remember thinking the legacy one looked weird on its initial reveal, but now i don't know what my problem was. The legacy one is absolutely the Strongarm I've been waiting for. I've been collecting the RID2015 warrior figures and I really love them, including Strongarm, but this new one fixes all my issues with that original figure. It's pretty crazy that its an Elita-1 retool because the Alt-mode is straight up perfect as far as I'm concerned.

while I wish they leaned into the RiD design from the show (I think they could’ve mixed both, imo), you’ve sold me on this figure. Strongarm stood out in that show for me, even though I felt it was a step down from TF Prime

imo they should have used a new or different mold instead of the Elita-1 mold. Elita-1 is too small for a transformer that turns into a truck. You may disagree with me but it’s just my opinion

I'm surprised to say that her being an Elita retool works fairly well as she was smaller than Sideswipe height wise, but I'd wish her chest was wider and her forearms longer. Having those two things fixed would make her proportions far better and her head wouldn't look as huge. Still, an unexpected surprise overall especially considering how bad her stock photos were.

strongarm and strika are how I wish transformers did more of their female characters, not only because I personally love muscular women, but because as a figure, it translates better than the thin arcee body type in general.

Hey J4 I got this figure because I needed a new version of Strongarm. And I’m glad I put her with Ultra Magnus because I felt like she fits with the elite guard

4:37 Something that I'm just now noticed with the Legacy figure is that these vents on the legs actually are on it, they're just on the bed of the truck mode/the bottom of the backpack instead of the legs. I guess they just couldn't put them on the legs because it would look strange to have them on both the bed and the legs?

I think 2015 Warrior was a bit better in robot form then legacy.. legacy strongarm just looks like it has so much kibble. While RID2015 is reasonable on the kibble, since the budget for those toys weren’t so high.

The front of the hum vee should have been part of the backpack than the shoulders. Articulation is very limited

The alt. Mode on legacy is the reason I can't get rid of the old warrior class version. I slapped repro labels on both and they look great together. Legacy as bot and rid 2015 as truck

Given how the Legacy Strongarm figure has a nose, to me, this figure works less as RID Strongarm and more as Generation 1 Strongarm, who was first shown as a potential candidate for the next generation of the Wreckers.

Congrats JC, you just made me pull the trigger on buying this. I want more fembots in my collection. I just got kingdom road rage and I’m loving her. Unfortunately I usually hate fembot toys for obvious reasons. I picked up Crasher and road rage, and this one will continue the streak.

how does kingdom road rage plastic feels on the hand. till now seige and legacy feel more premium to me than the other series

@@ah08223 It might be a little less quality than most, but nothing to worry about. Main thing are her legs. With how the transformation works her legs don’t stay together too great. Out of the box her legs were very loose, and her arms and head were way too tight. This was probably just my copy though.

I'll never understand the thought process at Hasbro when it comes to _not_ releasing colour accurate figures of characters from their shows. Prime had colour accurate figures, Animated had colour accurate figures, _Armada_ had colour accurate figures. (for the most part) Why did they release figures like Strongarm where the colours and details weren't right? I'm not saying they had to have all of the paint and correct detailing that the Takara one did, but I at least expect colours in the right places.

Its not super accurate, but you can take the lightbar off and put it on one arm; which is what I do with mine. I like this toy, but I kinda take issue with minor things. I do wish she was a bit beefier in robot mode, and I wish the truck mode was a bit... truck-ier; but It's still a better looking vehicle mode then Elita/Minvera. It's just a very flat looking truck. I wish the door wings could spread out a little to be seen in robot mode better. Peronally I would have prefered her to be a new mold and Shadow Striker to be a remold, becuase Shadow Striker while needing a good toy; was also a much more minor character.
