I have a 60*40ft warehouse, im wondering if this could handle cleaning it for general dust and grit on a single charge.

is it safe for a sheet metal shop where aluminum shavings are present? is there a way to ground it?
@RobotShopTV6 жыл бұрын
Hi Sam, Thanks for reaching out. Since the robot is extremely robust and may pick up metal screws, we believe there would be no problem for the Makita to pick up aluminum shavings. Note that it could wear the brush faster than normal. You can learn more about the product here: www.robotshop.com/en/makita-drc200z-industrial-robotic-vacuum.html

make a wireless charging pad for this and sales will boom
@theinstitute13243 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I mean I get that the idea was more for contractors and such who may want these for small jobsites, but in a more industrial setting where it's beneficial to have a little roost for these in some areas that they can go back to after cleaning time is done and over with, a wireless charging pad is definitelt desireable, not to mention the general benefit of not having to make someone run around and do battery checks or have one die mid-clean causing a possible hazard. It'd probably also be a good idea to have a better sensor suite. I'd like to see more little automated devices like this because they can save a lot of time on a jobsite, especially for small contractors such as drywall or sheetrock hangers and carpenters. I'm wondering how this could work in a retail environment like a clothing store where there always seems to be a lot of dust

It does not pick up everything as it clearly leaves 2 screws on floor where the heads slide into the gap on floor at 0:43 in video

Wonder if this would work for a welding shop.
@RobotShopTV6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question. The Makita Vacuum is an extremely robust robot and would be good for a welding shop, just make sure it doesn't pick up hot or melted metal parts.

Yeah for like over 1k... For that price they could put a camera behind a thick glass so it wouldn't get damaged in the industrial use and would at least have smart navigation

Good Afternoon can you tell me is this a noise robotic as I am looking for an Age care home
@RobotShopTV6 жыл бұрын
Hi Katrina, the robot does sound like a standard vacuum. If you are looking for a quiet robot for an age care home, we would suggest to look into floor cleaners such as the Braava, Mamibot Sweepur.
