It does look incredibly like a farm

It is, its a 10,000+ acre sheep and beef station. No deer fence deer roam wild and can leave the property at anytime they like

Lots of places near QT look to be like farm land, but the hills are just super bare

Great vid Ben! Good choice on picking that old boy. He looked to have a massive body on him. That 10 pointer with the strong Bay tines looked to be the new dominant stag coming up in the area, good genes on him and will be a ripper in a year or 2. Thanks for tickling my roar itch so far.

Cheers mate, i saw that 10 the year before aswell and unfortunately was identical to what he was in the video.i dont think hell grow any bigger which is a shame.

We do, we butchered the stag boned it out and carried it in our packs back up the hill.

You might call it free range hunting but really guys........ I'm all for shooting to put Kai on the table but that big stag didn't even have a sporting chance.... My 2 cents worth.
@BGHNZ4 жыл бұрын
Please explain how it didn't have a sporting chance? There is no deer fence on the property, This stag could of winded us a buggered off never to be seen again at any time. He was free to roam about 100,000 acres across multiple properties and public land. I see a well planned and executed hunt. We keep our distance not to fark it all up and scent the gulley then when we were ready and the wind was right we put the drop in on him and made a great shot. My 2 cents worth.

Looks like I might of hit a bit of a nerve. If you are prepared to put this vid or any vid for that matter on a public forum then you must be prepared also, that not everyone will like/agree with your methods or content...... That's it really. Take it or leave it.
