Surprised you didn't amputate your hand, Rob. Should have used wire wool to smoothen out the sharp edges of the frets. Could have also used a fret spaced from StewMac to figure out the gaps according to the scale. I also suck at wiring: did okay for a first go, but cut them a bit too short when they should have had some slack, so they don't fit properly into my Strat after putting new pickups in after the stock ones broke. Looks like I'll have to route out parts between the middle and bridge slots in the body to get it to fit properly.

playing that guitar would be like that scene from Whiplash where he bleeds all over the kit, but in this case, the fretboard

an extremely anxiety inducing, dangerous and uncomfortable guitar with really sharp edges that without caution, would cut your flesh and make you drip blood while using it? dude that's so metal!!

Simons voice sounds like Philip Seymour Hoffman in twister. So good to hear his voice again

Rob: "I don't think truss rods really matter" Let's pour one out for the century's worth of guitars destroyed after 1922 when steel strings were developed and put onto guitars lacking truss rods lmao

Thinking about it, "Scallon" would be an amazing guitar brand name. I can already see it.

the frets weren't chaotically placed, they were microtonally tuned.

I love that simon not knowing anything about guitar at the first minutes of the video and ending like he played guitar for 8 years without knowing what a truss rod is.

This should be sent to King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard. They'd be able to make it work for them.

This is a gallant effort. I have no idea of your stoned level while making this video, but the actual guitar is the most stoner thing I have ever seen. My only qualms are that you should have done this in eighth grade wood shop.

I've built a few guitars myself, I'm nobody famous, but considering this comedy, it's still incredibly cringeworthy. 😂 Thanks Rob. This is AMAZING. ✌️😎
