So for immune to player card effects: you couldn't have done grimbeorn's attack on one of the bears because it says spend one resource from his pool to declare him as an attacker against that enemey. You also can't use faint because it says choose an enemey engaged with a player (this wasn't played but you debated it). Any card that targets an enemy can't be played if it is immune. The attachments for the locations (woodman's clearing and woodman's path) that are immune to player cards also can't be played on them. This is directly in the last faq: Additionally, cards that are immune to player card effects cannot be chosen as targets of player card effects. This means that any player card that uses a form of the words “target” or “choose” cannot choose a card that is immune to player card effects as its target. This includes the “attach to...” text of any player attachment

Thanks for the info. I have a question about the Woodman's attachments. If I attach them during the planning phase, when encounter cards are not immune, how are they affected during the quest phase when they get the temporary immunity for 1 phase? I assume the effect of the attachments is "turned off" for the phase, but do the attachments fall off?

It is already attached by then. So I think it would not "fall off" since you are not playing the card at that moment.
