The song 'Hollywood' would make you cry. He leaves his mom behind and heads to Hollywood. My Love... Rick, showcases his innovative blend of jazz and soulful R&B. And then you mix in Tear Drops and Dream Maker, evoking a sensation akin to celestial(Angels) voices serenading listeners. Rick masterfully incorporates violins, infusing each of these three tracks with a captivating orchestral richness, surpassing traditional soundscapes.

Funny you should say “ this is fire!” , their most famous duet is the greatest slow jam of all time, Fire And Desire, which was on the album before the album that “ Happy” is on. One thing that is missing from todays young artist , slow love songs like this one, this was a staple and a must for every artist , especially R&B artist back then. This was one of those songs that had the dance floor packed with slow dancers at the club back in the day, then you got the girl’s phone number 😄😄😄😄.

Fire and desire (another duet he did with Tina Marie).Tear drops are falling. Ebony eyes a duet he did with Smokey. Love interlude.Which is kind of an instrumental. This song is my favorites by him.Fell in love with this song in high School and almost 40 years later I still love this song. So glad this was reacted to loved loved loved you guys reaction. THANK YOU. If you would like a few examples of Some Sweet Soul ballads to react to Masquerades I'm just an average guy. Always enjoy your reactions. Especially for the R&B that you were not exposed to. I was born 1960 and growing up with the amazing music was really really awesome. I have always exposed my children to the music I listen to, danced to, got close with. They would listen and say, "I know that song". But it would be from an artist that they knew. Then I would hit them with the original. Sometimes they liked it, sometimes they didn't. But I wanted them to know where the artists that they listened to got their songs and music from. Again, I enjoy you guys. Keep groovin' that music. Always love, Simonsez1960
