I think that classic mode and platformer mode in one level is not a bad idea Also, stars don't need to be just for classic levels or moons just for platformers. In my opinion stars can be for constant-completion-time levels and moons for variable-completion-time levels. Levels like "Floating Maze" and "VVVVVV" (classic mode) are good candidates for moons because it doesnt take specific time to complete, it's speedrunable and the best way percentage would work is by determining player's progress in a level and not the time it takes to complete. There can be platformer levels that take specific time to complete as well, stars would be ideal for jsab levels made in platformer mode. Level "vraiment cool" can be beaten in constant time if you don't collect a coin but it has a "minigame" for a coin that doesn't force you to beat a level in specific time, but I don't think coins should make this level a moon level because coin isn't a requirement and most people would beat this in a constant time.

I personally think that map packs are great place to try some really old levels from ancient times and game beginnings. It's nice and refreshing to try some simple old ones when you get bored of modern levels, so I kinda like that they are there. It's ofc just my opinion, someone can disagree..
