fantastic video. suggestion for you. in the video @34:15 you say theres a patch of soil that nothing will grow in it. may i suggest putting a bag of crushed slate over that patch, or some sort of stone. why? well with the abandoned and closed tunnel it could be used as a scenic break in the planting to show what was the industry in the tunnel or waste from when the tunnel was made. just thought id share. cant wait for the next video

Yer not a bad idea that. We've dug off the area recently and replaced the soil to see if that will work. Fingers crossed as we'd like the whole back to be green fields ideally.

I believe your floating pond plant is Canadian Duckweed. You may well regret adding that, it can soon takeover a pond.

So far so good. Longer term we'd like some fish in the pond, but they'll need some shade as due to the position of it, it doesn't get a lot. So floating plants are helping with that. We likely will need to come on top of them though.
