Really good album! The Elephant Man's Bones is a classic and one of my favourite Roc albums of all time. Comparatively, it feels like Roc pulled Al into his world more with the dusty yet elegant production, so It feels more cohesive in that sense. Thanks for the reaction!

“You talking to an igloo . You thought the freezer was cool / All ten of my fingers is blue” only Roc bruh lol 🔥🔥🔥

I feel like this album is superior in its cohesiveness with theme and sound, whereas The Elephant Man’s Bones had higher highs and lower lows (songs like Quantum Leap, Liquid Coke, and JJ Flash are among my favorite Roc and Al songs). Entertaining reaction as always 🔥 I think Rauf is also my favorite track off this album. Love Al’s trademark warping and slowing the beat to a stop for a measure or two

Totally agree! The Elephant Man's Bones is a classic and has more highs and lows. This one feels like Al got pulled into Roc's world more and the production feels more cohesive.

I still can’t get over “Quantum leap” song is 🔥

This is a better album than their last album off 4 full spins for me. It gets better every listen. The cohesiveness and the marriage of alcs production and Marcis bars are just outta control on this.

That ‘even Heller Keller could see’ hit when he said it. Damn. Following his rhyme schemes is a joy.

bro, I really feel your reaction, this album is absolutely insane. I also feel like it's just a little bit better than The Elephant Man's Bones due to its consistency and tighter package. The highs are also crazy, I mean that Mystery God intro really had me going OH SHIT, and that was just the beginning of those. Roc Marci soloing this and coming out on top is absolutely amazing. I feel like this is an instant classic, I've already replayed it like 7 times since it dropped and I want to listen to it less so the high can last longer but I can't 😭😭

Some crazy Dark under the corner closet loops. AS weird as this might sound, but would be dope if alchemist loop’s KA’s voice and have roc rap over it.

The project is solid🔥 however i wouldve liked alchemist to experiment a bit more with the beats and try some different soundscapes. Like some beats on here has already been sampled and certain sounds have been heard from alchemist before.

This album is definitely vintage Roc. The two bonus tracks that come with the purchased version: Bleu Mouson and Hard Drugz, are honestly some of the finest songs on the project. Unfortunately you have to buy the album from his website to listen to those.
