Travis Moten is the one who is slept on.. former wrestler had 18 sacks as a senior was a 3 star just made him a 4.. but Mason Graham was also former wrestler and 3 star.. guys like that who wrestled know leverage and have great hands and hips.. look out for him if he puts on some solid college weight

I agree, we get a lot of value out of our 3 and 4 stars. Mostly because of development, but Michigan has a very good system that evaluates its talent. They see the potential and skillset that no other school is identifying right now. Look at the recent players that weren’t even recruited by any other schools. Mason Graham and Sanristil come to mind.

Most slept on to me is the defensive line haul. Marshall looked awesome in those camps, Moten was super productive and has a build that could be great in college, Kanka should be a nice interior defensive lineman, Julius Holly was recruited by all the SEC guys for a reason he has a super high ceiling. Looking back I think we will be super impressed with landing a big fish in Marshall and some lower ranked guys( at least were)

Michigan alum here. As long as we can keep the NIL money cannon primed, we shouldn’t ever experience lower than top ten ranked classes. Go Blue!

2024-2028 could be similar to the 2018-2022 classes. Michigan may not have the high end dudes (on paper) in that 2024 class, but there are some damn solid players and terrific leaders. Just like the 2018 class.

Best class in regards to multiple metrics. Most top-50 signees, highest average rating, highest blue chip ratio. 2nd best point total, 2nd most top-200 signees.

Fella’s I cannot think of another class with higher rated talent; there’s not one. This is the most underrepresented fact in Michigan recruiting history. Moore pulled the greatest recruiting class ever and there’s hardly a mention of it. Not to mention when did any coaching staff ever steal commits from Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, and Florida State at the 12th hour? I’ll wait!!!! Great job for Moore and Staff, it’s not all NIL either, it’s him.

That class ended up having some high end talent for sure. You could be right. That class missed on a few positions though. QB. RB, and offensive line. It obviously hit on Defense in every aspect. And TE.

it's the best class based on what other people think. but a lot of other people are also kinda clueless. everyone thought the 2018 class stank and the athletic reranked it #5 based on production and draft status. mason graham was a 3 star and even usc whiffed on him even though he played in usc's back yard. the success we've enjoyed recently is due in large part to recruiting for culture fit. and we can't control how the most talented players will respond to a transformational recruiting pitch. i'm more inclined to trust the process and not get too excited about how ranking services evaluate our commits. that 2017 class was well regarded and underwhelmed in ann arbor.

So far this class.. if you add Hogan Hansen Bowles and Norton to fill imo the gaps they need at 1 Olineman.. 1 LB and a TE.. those guys stay till senior year when these guys are RS Soph or juniors… this could be a title contender easily I see a potential title contender for the next 2-3 years easy.. obviously Chip Lindsey and Wink would need to be here for all of Bryce tenure to see them hit this marker.. but if Michigan wins or makes a natty in 2025-26… wink will be hired into the NFL again.. unless made the highest paid by far.. plus some portal additions every year to contain depth and a playmaker or two if needed.. time will tell #GoBlue

Agree with Dill - in 2026 UM should keep replenishing the DL that won them the Natty. Do guys like Jermaine Kinsler sound about right? Let’s not forget what C. Loveland did and unless I’m mistaken we don’t have a top level TE in 2025 yet, right? Let’s land 1-2 in 2026…

Funny thing about metrics - although 1-2 others (OSU, OR?) may score higher, the intangible factors like MI Man “Team Over Me” culture fit, coaching staff developmental skill, and more, should give us all confidence Moore and Co will optimize their recruit’s performance regardless of mere numerical ratings. We were 3rd in the big 10 in 22 as well. That class won 3 big 10 championships. Made the playoffs 3 times. Won a natty. And was reclassified to #1 overall class this year

It is the best recruiting in decades. All them 3+ year guys on offence. They should be able to buy a couple 1 year left, future 1st. round pro, receivers for 26 and 27. 1 or 2 more on defense should be all it takes too. The only problem is the expectations are very high. I feel like a national is already Michigan's to lose.
