It's the 55th anniversary of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, so we decided to talk about the show, share some funny stories, and go into our favorite parts of this historical landmark in entertainment. Oh and we also hear kids scream in a restaurant (yeah sorry about that audio).

I went to Disneyland a few times as a kid and loved the Dole whips! I watched this video last night and ended up dreaming of Dole whips. These videos contain an ancient power, keep it up

Tiki Room Under New Management was the first and only time I went into the Tiki Room. I'd like to see the normal version of the show someday.

One interesting thing about under new management, which sucks of course, is that the new tiki goddess that was built for that attraction got moved to wdw's trader sam. So when you order a drink of her name, she comes to life. As a Florida goer, i personally love wdw's ver. It was even more beautiful during it's Tropical Serende days as it had this beautiful tropical pond in front and even also had a barker bird of it's own. I do disagree with you that our preshow isn't good. I think it's something different and adds a more tropical feel to it like it's name implies. I do also love DL's preshow as well for something different from ours. Both have their charms imo. Once again, great video! I enjoyed it!

it used to be the same in disney world. You could get the SAME Dole whip by the swiss family robinson and the line therewas not even comparable to the size of the one in the middle of adventureland. Of course now that is just the citrus dole whip stand. ALSO id like to add that in Florida at least, the Tiki room ending song is like a little parody "Hi Ho Hi Ho, its out the door you go"

Finally getting to watch this! I keep meaning to ask but were you aware at all of VMK the virtual magic kingdom? That was a huge part of my childhood and kind of allowed myself and my friends to experience Disneyland without actually going. There were a lot of exclusive items in the game that you could only get by visiting the parks, but it was a really weird and cool way to connect with Disneyland from a distance. They would play park and attraction music in the game (the tiki room is what reminded me) and you could go on “quests” or click on things that would tell you Disneyland trivia.

If there's something positive to say about "Under New Management" its that the Goddess of Disaster's animatronic was amazing and their choice of "Get on your Feet" for the ending song always fit better than "Heigh Ho".
