Wow this is super excellent! I love miniatures and often I will use PVA(aka ModPodge) glue to almost "laminate" small paper items to make them last longer. And of course you do exactly the same! Great video mate I will definitely subscribe because this is the kind of stuff that really helps! I will point others your way too because I have a few action figure /model horse friends (not many lol! But a few LMAO!). Good point about it smearing the image but if you practice it can make miniatures and paper patterns more durable. Also there's a brilliant lady called Heather Tracy who does miniatures and uses the superglue and baking soda method to turn card into something as hard as wood. Also Ara at Bentley House minis is a terrific miniaturist too...look them up especially for Gothic bits and pieces, architecture and furniture!

A better way to do this (if on iPhone or iPad) is use pages app and just insert the pic and you can resize it and it will tell you the exact dimensions you’re resizing it to. I’ll try to make a video on it sometime soon

The best way i gather images for my action figures are buying the catalogues books from my local comic book shop and cut out the images and use them for posters.

If you don’t have a laminator, then another thing you could do is give the poster(s) a coat of mod podge.

I used Microsoft word before this and you have to get rid of the margins, to save on paper and space, and you can have a ruler added so you can size to how you like, then take a ruler in real life and measure how big you want stuff by your figures.

very cool. not sure if you know this already since the video is old, but Mac has a photoshop program that you can own. It's called Affinity Photo. It cost $50 and you own it after you pay. It is not subscription-based.

Being frank, your methodology is kinda like throwing darts with a blindfold on. Repeatedly printing and readjusting the scale based off the result would drive me mad. If you want to use 12:1, 6:1, 4:1 ECT scale then include a picture of ruler measurements somewhere on the page with the printables. For example say your printing on standard 8½ x 11 then have the scale reading those measurements to the appropriate side and adjust the size of the props accordingly. You will save yourself a lot of time, paper and ink as opposed to printing multiple copies and adjusting your scale repeatedly.
