I like the trailer to Vanessa and Jan. It has a early '60's Rock Hudson/Doris Day/zany comedy feel to it. And as far as speed dating again.... I can't wait! I thought that concept worked brilliantly in Christine and you get to meet so many colorful characters that way and at the same time (at least in Christine) we get to see her story unfold through the men she meets. I don't know how they plan to do it with V&J but I certainly am intrigued.....!

Storming into the office like that almost blew her whole deal! It seems far fetched that Rochelle felt she needed to find an excuse to visit the office to spy. If she were paying so much for Panna to execute her will, you'd think she could easily request daily updates, so that she wasn't left in the lurch, wondering. Get your terms in order, Rochelle! You'd think anyone at the office who saw the boss's hot-headed ex talking privately in the hallway with an employee would have reported it.

Hey, I am so encouraged to realize that there is someone else out there that can see as I do. Yeah, there isn't enough time for any sort of character development, so any conclusions we make about Panna will have to be done without much information. I know wigs likes to surprise us, but I agree that this series could have really given us a glimpse into their world if they had given us more information, read: more episodes.

Yea, Jan was the first of ALL the series that I did not finish. I didn't even get half way because I was so bored with it. I don't get why of all the series they had to bring back Jan. I didn't care for Leslie either. My favorites were Lauren, Blue, Christine, and Dakota for sure. Dakota and Lauren being my top two and the two I would want to see more of :-). I would also like to see a full version of the Jennifer Garner one.

Actually, Robbie did have his redeeming qualities. He seemed to genuinely understand Jan like nobody else and look after her and it was because of him that her talent for photography was sparked and fueled. But he was was drugged out and troubled and wasn't beyond doing some pretty low stuff (like stealing her camera). She met him in a mental hospital after all. I've known women who couldn't let go of toxic relationships like that. She tries, at least.

Along these lines she also reveals a thing or two on this episode that also could be construed in that way. She says that marriage and children are "not her thing" and that she "hasn't flirted with a man in years at least when the outcome is uncertain", which means that outside the prospect of business she has no reason to flirt with a man. hmm...

Yeah! Now there's two of us that think this. It just makes sense. WIGS likes twisted endings and I don't think it will be an extremely brutal ending to Rochelle, but I think Panna does want kids and a family and she feels like she's getting older and it's time for a new career. Panna is smart and I personally think she's playing Rochelle. She gives her eye contact and looks honest, but she's a polished liar and she has her own agenda in all of this. Just my opinion.

Another clue is on the BTS episode when Scott Turow says that this is like a morality tale or Esoep's fables type thing where there is a moral at the end. So that leads me to believe that this whole revenge thing is definitely going to backfire on her. How it does, is the question. But for Panna to fall in love with Charlie is way too predictable, don't you think?

She'll pull it off...and more, Panna will get what she wants. She knows how to work people and get where she needs to be. Rochelle is a drama queen in my opinion, and opening up to her anger makes her vulnerable. I'm sure Panna sees how vulnerable Rochelle is, but what Rochelle doesn't know is that when you deal with the 'dark side' you're gonna [possibly] get burned. For all Rochelle's years of living, she seems very inexperienced and naive.

Actually towards the end, it was revealed that Jan was seeing a new guy and she meets him and spent the night with him. It appears that he was in the military and was stationed in Afganistan. It wasn't real explicit on what happened and why, but it does show him in bed with her, and she later tells Robbie she "threw him out". I think she didn't like the way he handled her, as Rochelle might say, like a "city street worker filling a pothole". So perhaps she is now single.....

The thing that infuriates me about Rochelle is how wealth is so wasted on the rich. Many women get tossed away like tissues by their spouses and don't have a penny to show for it. They raise their kids alone with no child support. Self absorbed is right. The best revenge is a life lived well. She is simply bored because she has never developed herself outside her role as a wife and mother. Hopefully she will realize that life puts unexpected stuff on your plate and can make the most of it.

Yes, it was an unfortunate angle and a little distracting. It really just looks as if she has a little bit of a rounded belly, but it is far from a baby bump. She actually has quite a beautiful figure, but they didn't show it off properly with that silhouette shot. That woman is a complete goddess. I haven't seen a beauty in Hollywood quite like that since Julia Roberts hit the scene in Pretty Woman.
