Did you order Express ornregular shipping? That should determine the time it takes to get to you. Was the box smashed by rock auto or by the shipping company?

It was upgraded shipping, but I blame the package condition wholly on ups, the shotty parts.... well that's the manufactures problem not rock autos.

Used Rock Auto to get a used clutch. The clutch was so worn I couldn't use it at all. Never again. Staying local.

I have used rock auto loads of times and never had a parcel delivered like that, that has to be down to the carrier not rock auto

Yep and sometimes the post office opens packages to see whats in it due to something suspicious looking

i got the same thermostat deal from them with my 99 s10 2.2, bought the more expensive acdelco oe temp thermo and got a motorad in the box, not sure why but apparently something is going on and we are eating the bill for it

Placebo Effect I recently ordered an acdelco for a caddilac as well and got the same results.

ac delco does not make that part. they contract with motorad to make it . you are as an uninformed consumer paying for the name ac delco on the box. this happens with all car companies. As far as damage to boxes that is really nit picking wouldnt you say. parts look fine when unboxed.

I bought some 68 rubber floor mats that were very expensive for my Suburban from RockAuto. They had the company drop ship them to me and instead of rolling them up they folded them up and pretty much destroyed them. RockAuto was awesome about replacing them and made it completely right for me

If your going to run around saying someone is crying over something at least pay attention & get your facts straight instead of sounding like an idiot. They sent him a knock off part when he ordered AC Delco. That's crap. Plus the 2 day shipping he paid for took over a week to get to him. Damaged boxes aren't a good sign either. You keep getting those & your bound to start getting damaged parts.
