Are rb4 freestyle solos like actual solos done with the pro guitar or are they just pressing the 5 buttons from the standard guitar controller randomly?

I'm pretty sure Pro instruments were ditched in Rock Band 4 so yeah you just spam the buttons essentially

@@notafckinEboy pro Controllers are still a thing in game at least the pro drums. They also changed it where you can press whatever buttons you want but you have to do set strum patterns or it breaks your combo and you don’t earn points

No, you get to choose the gender and characters in your band. The player chose a female as their lead singer but the vocals are the actual singer from the real band
