ROCK BOUNCER KNOCKOUT RACING IS WILD! | Rock Rods EP115

Rock Bouncer Knockout Racing is some of the most action packed racing that there is. On this episode of Rock Rods the folks at pro rock racing brought it back to Mid America Outdoors during their recent Visions Offroad 2021 event. For this Knockout Racing Competition two drivers line up next to each other and battle it out up a hill climb with jumps and ledges. There is no lane and rubbing is racing. 9:24 to 9:37 the guy on the right, his engine sounds way different, more like a race car. What is the difference? When I watch these Busted Knuckle videos it's always the guys that sound like this that are WAY faster. If I get a chance after my Jeep is done, I want to build a buggy like that!

Some have blowers, a few with turbos, some with straight headers, some with full exhaust, some are faster because of suspension also

1:28 INDEPENDENT 9"in a fabricated housing... That right there is what I would put onto a SXS. You'd be good to go and as far as you want to take it with the tires. No more $700 used differential housings that'll shred themselves to pieces. Cut what you have to cut and weld that housing integrally into into the frame. SXS cost to much to have low strength parts and that fix you for good without breaking the bank any further.

@@BustedKnuckleVideo I'm a fabricator, but I'm pretty sure you knew it. Every time there's an axle I could stuff into something weak, I always pop up with the same line of comment! 🤣 I know you've noticed it too! It's really hard to control the urge to overkill where you can do it really well. If I buy myself a used SXS with blown diffs, I'll see my own kit housing and they can supply the third member. It's about like my 10 sec NA LS1 in my K5 as my daily driver... It didn't need more than 3 times the stock HP, but it fits.
