Mr busted knuckle look at the way the Cameron and the Burkey buggy's rear suspension react. Burkey did a video on anti squat he did ok then wandered off in left field. He started to confuse anti squat with forward bite. Anti squat is only good when you first apply the power when the suspension is in motion after that it does nothing but neg. On a drag car it is used to wrinkle the slicks and load the chassis. The track is smooth and binding makes the chassis more stable some drag cars don't even have rear suspension. In my opinion this does not apply to off road racing you need suspension travel like the Cameron buggy. the anti squat and lack of travel and stiff springs in the Burkey buggy probably gives the driver a more solid and secure feel but it obviously hurts the performance. then there is forward bite. It is impossible to create anti squat with an independent rear because its a product of TQ reaction and the independent Diff is bolted down solid. But you can create forward bite which has to do with the instant center and the forward motion of the car but it also only has a beneficial affect when it is first loading then binds. A simplistic explanation of forward bite is the front pivot on the lower arm is higher than the rear so as the wheel accelerates against the mass of the car it trys to force the chassis up and that loads the tires while in motion up after that it just binds the suspension. The videos are very entertaining keep up the good work Ps there is no magic in the Cameron buggy rear suspension its just proven trophy truck style setups .
