Grampians, Sector Muline

It is in the Victoria Range on the west side of The Grampians/ Gariwerd. At the moment there are climbing restrictions in the Victoria Range, because of some idiotic bolting in areas that are important to the traditional owners. I think Muline is still open but some internationally renowned cliffs are off limits now. There are likely to be strong restrictions on new routing, particularly for sport climbs. New trad routes will also need to be put up only in areas without rock art etc. If climbers don't adapt to the new rules we could see all climbing banned in Grampians/ Gariwerd.

BTW The Djab Wurrung and the Jardwadjali are the two nations which are the traditional owners of Gariwerd/ Grampians. They have considerable influence over activities in the park and are keen for everyone to enjoy it, while respecting its history.

@@williamking7765 Muline is closed, along with all the world class climbing. You're kidding yourself if you think it's because of some bolting at Black Ians, they just don't want any climbing.
