1:51 her signature weapon also has effect like that.. so cool.. 👍 From the experience with Yunjin and Robin( character of Honkai Star Rail). They hired one person to sing and 4 others to dub each available language voiced over. If in the lore xilonen is also the one who singing the song. But if it just a featur song because she only the DJ, they could use any good singer.. cant wait to know it when they announce it..

I liked this new approach from Mihoyo. Some say they don't like it because it doesn't feel like the same Genshin vibe anymore. Personally, I think it's welcome. It's been 4 years, how many times will they rinse and repeat the same flow? Plus, it's a nice way to showcase more of her personality. From the video, we can see she likes to skate, DJ-ing, and dance. It got the audience hyped up, and pretty sure it's basic knowledge for them to market and sell her as much as they can SLAYY QUEEN 💅

I'm of two minds about it. I think it's well made and does its job, but it does feel like the game is homogenizing to just be more like the others, and that brings a loss of identity. I don't want all of their games to do the same things, I want them to be different. Hopefully the team takes care not to overdo it.

@@shadowfox7473 That does peeve me a bit too, ngl, I'm just choosing to let it go. I almost feel like the team is using Natlan to showcase that they CAN do all the things people say they want from Genshin demos/trailers, but in the future when they don't, it's because they're CHOOSING not to.

​@@shadowfox7473 The completely modern concert venue/stage is super jarring. I love the trailer but it's so weird and frankly a baffling design choice to make. They already have a stage, in the Children of Echoes, why not just use that as a base.... Ajaw was already real jarring but at least Dendro is the technology/digital age/hardlight themed element so some suspense of disbelief could be made.

@@effortlessfury Really?I feels like I still get the Genshin vibes even from the recent trailer, its like if You looks at a person different side, They do seems like a different person sometimes, "Its Genshin, but different side of it" if that make sense(?), its kinda funny how Miko quote somethings also like "people only seeing the side They want to see" or along those lines, for the Trailer quality, I personally feels like the beginning part was not it, but the end is actually banger and I don't personally feels like its similiar to other IP like Honkai or Zenless, but I can see why people doesn't like this change, its kinda drastic and sudden

Btw, you can actually try out characters that are currently obtainable on limited banners, by going to the Trial Run section in the Event Menu (R5). That way, even if you're not sure about getting her, you can still try her out starting in 2 days.

i know it's fun seeing a dj in genshin, but for comparison: mondstadt, whose archon is literally a bard, prefers lyres and the church has solemn organ. either the nation actively rejects the technology or the tech doesn't reach mond, but either way i think mondstadt may be the rural country that doesn't have stable electricity and good internet of teyvat lol.

Part of the problem could also be because Mondstadt lacks an unique extreme power source while some other nations power sources don't work outside their own nations so they can't share their tech either. Sumeru used to have the Akasha but was limited to Sumeru. Fontaine is powered by pneumosia energy but only exists in Fontaine since they said their gardemeks don't last long outside Fontaine without it. Natlan seems to get their energy from pyro/phlogiston, again limited to Natlan.

To my knowledge Hoyoverse has not announced who the rapper is. Lot of people have ideas/speculations on who, but nothing has been confirmed as far as I'm aware. Personally would love if they turned out to be a latina rapper. Hoyoverse has collaborated with foreign artists in the past. Foreign in regards to China. So there's technically a chance. Maybe we'll get an answer one day. Either way very cool suprise. Fairly certain Xilonen is the first character in Genshin who has singing in their demo. Other Hoyoverse games have singing in the character demos, especially Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ). Was not expecting Hoyoverse to do it for Genshin too.

i think they hired different person to singing the song like what happenend to yunjin and Robin. They both had 2 VA for it, one for singing, and 4 VA for each different dub. it is not new in genshin and hoyo anyway.. but i dunno.. let see when they announced it who is the singer..
