Just want to let you know, I exclusively use your music while writing. With all of your different styles from song to song I never have to go anywhere else and I'm glad. All of these pieces have so much passion and energy in them, it's just the inspiration I need when I sit down to crank out a story.

Thanks, Vindsvept. Ever since your channel started, you gave me something in my life I missed for years. I knew exactly what I wanted and you deliver every time.

I know for someone like you who makes primarily melodic music, this might not necessarily be a compliment, but what you make would perfect for atmospheric black metal. Keep on doing your thing, I love it.

The two parts of this song would work well for a video game. The first part plays during a "chase" scene where you have to keep up with a traitor as he attempts to escape. If he gets too far away, you fail. Part 2 plays when the "chase" scene is over and you have to battle the traitor.

I've already purchased the entire high quality youtube collection from bandcamp (do it, it's worth it!) but I keep coming back to this song. It immediately takes me to a fantasy world of my mind that is unique to the song - and that...is freaking impressive.

+Beatriz Castro Thank you! My taste in music may surprise many of my regular listeners. I grew up listening to Iron Maiden being blasted through the wall because of my older brother. From there I began listening to Kalmah and Eternal Tears of Sorrow, two bands I still listen to regularly. They are the reason I wanted to play keyboards and go to school to study music. Here's a few bands I really enjoy in no particular order: Insomnium, Avantasia, Omnium Gatherum, Wolfheart, Finntroll, Ensiferum and Wintersun. There are of course many more but those should give you an idea of what I listen to :)

What do you use to make your music? Instruments? apps? Mixing unlicensed pieces together?
@Vindsvept8 жыл бұрын
It's a mix of what are called VSTi, Virtual studio technology instruments, they are most commonly instruments sampled note by note so that you can play them on a keyboard and live recorded instruments.
@bloodsweatandbeers46848 жыл бұрын
Awesome. I'll research it. I have a keyboard with hundreds of instrument settings and have been wanting to get a flute for a while. Thanks for the quick reply. Keep making awesome music :)

If I buy all of your songs in Bandcamp now, will I still get the new ones you publish without buying them?
@Vindsvept8 жыл бұрын
+Sylver Productions No, that's the problem with bandcamp. They are working on a subscription service though. So if you pay let's say 5$, you get everything that is already there and every song that is posted within the time you are subscribed. I can't wait for that to get implemented. In the meantime I'm thinking of splitting the tunes up into albums, that way you don't have to buy everything all over again just for a few tunes, you can just wait a few months and buy an album instead. I just want it to be fair, and it's messy.
