😎 I only went for the Saturday and really enjoyed KK’s Priest.

​@@themetalheadswayAh I see, I was camping there for the entire duration, but yeah KKs Priest was definitely my hightlight too. The entire crowd joining on singing nightcrawler was crazy, I still get goosebumps thinking about it

6€ plus "pfand" however you translate that, kind of like a deposit so you are inclined to give the empty one back and get your money back. In past years you where at least allowed to bring your own beer in, as long as it was in a clear container, but now you can't bring anything inside, even if you bought it on festival grounds, just outside the stage, it's ridiculous. Still smuggled in some beer tho. And yeah, just Veltins, think they are a sponsor, no other options.

That's just Rockhard specifically honestly, the age range there has always been a bit higher. It's a fairly small festival, only one stage, camping right around the corner, all shops and food in a pretty small radius around the stage, fewer people. It is a way calmer atmosphere, way more relaxed than bigger festivals, no super long walking distances, no waiting in line for hours, not having to bother switching between multiple stages or deciding for one band over the other, and I think all that combined is part of the reason it attracts a somewhat older age range. It's more of a relaxed camping holiday with good music, rather than a nonstop party like bigger festivals, it's not as stressful. Of course there are people that can do that and go to Wacken or Rock am Ring well into a respectable age, but I think many get to a point of "I'm to old for this shit" and then Rockhard is a great alternative, to get a festival experience in a much more managable package
