This was a week ago. Yesterday when I went I about froze, but I would rather freeze than look at a frozen Lake :) It was a fun day. I sure miss going up north. I almost went one last time this weekend but decided it would probably be to cold. I noticed Grand Marais did not have much for snow as of yesterday morning. Things may be different today ? Thanks for watching ! Happy Rock Hunting~Merry Christmas to you and Sherry :)

Thats crazy, the glass slag looks kinda like rocks where your at. I kept thinking it was some piece of jasper or silicated rock only to find out more man made minerals. Still really cool how much of it is on that beach! I found my first piece of green glass slag last week, and it has rainbow purple colors in it. Can you tumble it?
@upnorthadventureswithccc3 жыл бұрын
It is a fairly small beach but loaded with glass slag. I find some up in Munising Michigan in Lake Superior also. It tumbles really nice~as long as there are no big holes in the slag~then it will fill up with grit and polish. Otherwise I love how mine turned out :) Thanks much for watching :)
