There was lots of great acts in the 70's and Blue Öyster Cult was definitely one of them. It's a shame that most people only know "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" and maybe Burnin' For You or Godzilla. Their whole library of songs are original and very good too. Very few bands has gone up so fast from being "the band with one hit" to one of my favorite bands.... And they still are!

Been a fan for almost 30 years. Always listen to their stuff beyond the radio hits. Heaven Forbid is one of my favorite albums from them. 🤘

My Favorite Band! seen them live in Ketchikan Alaska in April 1999 just in time for my fifteenth birthday. It was like a dream come true :-)

That's funny! I remember seeing them in Anchorage in 1987 when they opened for Journey. Once Journey came on I stayed for three songs and then left. I didn't go to see them. :)

Going stronger than ever.......they should dig out some old Imaginos cuts, it'd go nice with that acoustic version of Dancin' in the Ruins lately

I like how Eric pulled the mic closer to Buck at 3:41. Seriously though the guy couldn't have had a more professional setup?

Interview was done on the fly at sea, so we did what we could. Next time we'll call you :)

@@vintagerockdotcom I've never had a page take time to respond to me, that's pretty cool. I didn't mean it in an offensive way, I just assumed that there would've been mic stands set up. Btw, I don't have any equipment but I would be more than happy to join you on any interview featuring Eric Bloom and Buck Dharma. ;) Have a good day you all.

@@GretaVanZeppelin1996 There are a lot of things we could have done to make this better, but it is what it is. Thanks for watching.

So, you have bands on a cruise, with performances, video interviews, etc, you sell tickets and hope to promote further cruises with youtube uploads, and it doesn't dawn on anybody to mic up the interview subjects?

Always been one of my favorite bands, for 40 years, Buck went out of his way a couple times to come up and shake my hand after a show, blew my mind. But Eric is a jerk, I saw them open for Cheap Trick like in 2013, I have a big BOC logo tattoo on my arm, just ask him for a quick picture, and he totally blew me off, I was like the only BOC fan there to see them, everyone was there to see Cheap Trick, broke my heart kinda, after like 20 shows in 8 states after 40 years. Blue Coupe, Bouchards/Dunaway would never do that, they're cool as hell too, like Buck, sorry, just saying/venting, still ticks me off to this day. Just wanted a pic, he was always my guy, that voice from Secret Treaties etc, but thats life I guess.
