to your knowledge, was this song originally recorded on a precision bass? the music video clearly shows him using a jazz bass but this tone sound just about spot on! its also known that oasis' bassist didnt record every part in the studio, noel gallagher himself did many of the bass recordings himself on the first two albums of oasis. he very well may have grabbed a precision bass to record. what do you think?
