Rock of Ages Any%+ speedrun in 1:41:11 by Happy_danser.
The numbers state it is not a good run, it felt like that but the 3-boulder Rochelle and Witches Sabath have saved it. New PB.
Rock of Ages is a game by ACE Team.

Far from consistent, for 30 secs a try this is not bad to reset on at the start.

@@Happydanser true, true. As long as the only major skip is at the beginning it isnt bad.

If “Time Trial” was in the original Rock of Ages:

Well, all the levels except Hades and the boss fights have a timetrial, but those are not visible in/accessed through story mode. I have a few videos of my Timetrials (some WRs on the PC leaderboard). I would also recommend watching other runs/runners of this game by visiting the SRC leaderboard ( www.speedrun.com/rock_of_ages )

This video was made using an older combination: Intel i5-750 4-core processor, 8 GB RAM and the AMD Radeon RX 580, for as far as I can remember correctly. Recording done with OBS at the time. Currently using a AMD Ryzen 5 6-Core processor, 16GB RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 580, recording with Streamlabs.

Yes, that is me! The video-proof is also uploaded here. As well as a video with keyboard-inputs shown for a similar run.

At first I was like: “What?! How can a small game be?!” Then I wondered… (Here’s some questions for you) 1.) How many levels are there? (+Bosses) 2.) How long does it averagely beat a *war* level? 3.) How long does it avaragely beat a *boss* level? 4.) How much does that add up?

Happy to help. 1) There is 23 levels total. 1 tutorial, 18 War levels, 4 boss levels. 2) Hades, the first tutorial level, is the shorted at 2~3 minutes. Level War 1 - 14 are around 5 minutes each, War 15 - 18 are likely around 10 minutes with the long tracks/harder enemy. 3) A boss level is gimmicky. Somewhere between 2~5 minutes each. 4) Adding the average times would result in 2hours 15 minutes of playtime, but I would take a full 3 hours to include menu-time, a defeat at 1 or 2 hard levels and to collect the progression items. The progression items unlock the boss stage, most of these are in your way during WAR so you will likely collect enough playing casually. Luckily you do not need all of the progression items/collectables for the final Boss. A 100% offline completion would more likely take around 5 hours with some collectables being hard to collect in a single WAR attempt. For quick 100% achievement completion you might want to ask a friend/friendly RoA player to battle/lose to you, that would take another hour with good planning.
