Rock of the Week 112: Nickel Copper Ore from Sudbury

This is a sample from the Creighton Mine near Sudbury Ontario. It is blebs of pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, and pentlandite in norite and is from sulfide droplets that didn't have a chance to sink enough to join the massive sulfide that forms lower in the sequence.
