@xdeadromeox the musicians you named was very popular in 80's and 90's in Korea. Korea's world music scene was very huge in Asia. second to Japan. There are Several Cable TV Channels and Radio Chanels only Brodcast progressive/alternative rock, Jazz and so on , which is very rare in Asia(i'm now live taiwan. but..)especially Kitaro, Yanni was really million seller in 80's(one of the huge market for them both.so They visited Korea very often)it is common sense for many Koreans, not the Knowledge

They're Korean! Seo Taiji did pretty much every genre on the map, he was a pioneer in Hip-Hop & I believe rock. His older music had the KoRn vibe to it if you heard it. You could say he was as popular as MJ in Korea. He's a very great artist, and I believe he was quite controversial...

dude!.... this performance was sick. it rocked!.. xD couldn't take my eyes off of the screen. i would never have thought of a rock band ever performing with an orchestra symphony. nice collaboration too. it was really well coordinated. never even knew of their existence until now. dang!..... i missed out big time. love the mix of rock/metal. his musics rocked all the way. thanks for sharing the video. will look forward to more of his musics!....... xB

If that's true, knowing Taiji and his obsession with perfection, with all the track counts and things to clean up to make the CD perfect for listening, it'll be a huge project on it's own to produce a clean commercial CD version of this concert. As a Korean American, I could see how you would assume that. On the internet, the first thing I'd see about korean music is kpop. Same vice-versa, first thing many outsiders see of US music is Justin Beiber. We all know that these are only a part of a much larger entertainment and music industry. This performance is freaking amazing!!! As a musician myself, I know how hard it is to put classic and rock together. Where can I see the full video of this? or maybe even a DVD I can purchase? I would love to see this in a big screen with HD quality!!! The music itself is very unique...something I never heard before. His harmonization in the voice is so clear and accurate.
