Thank you! Very wise words. I live further up on the Rock, and I feel blessed, and fortunate to have this amazing fishery outside my front door. Sometimes I get disappointed by the amount of trash people leave behind, but I can’t control the actions of others, just myself. That’s when the trash bag comes out. Just came across your video and actually go to the college right near where your fishing! Great to see some tips on what locals are using! I usually catch some carp just north of the dam by the piers (also just dropped a sub)

What town are you fishing by? We live near rock Island and have fished the Rock River several times and havent been able to hook up with anything except two large mouths and a couple of catfish. lol Not sure if Im just using the wrong bait or in the wrong place/time.
