So mesmerizing to watch! So, as an Alaskan with a geology background, I believe the rock type that reminds you of concrete looks like some sort of "Conglomerate" containing little rounded clasts cemented together by a matrix such as mudstone or siltstone. The flat platy rocks and cliff forming outcrops look like limestone, but hard to tell from the video as you're flying past. Beautiful though, makes me want to go there for geology themed thrill ride! We did that ride down from the dam on our 1st years holiday biking in Spain years ago, made a bit of a hash of guiding ourselves which is why we use Jorge at track Mtb in Madrid now - stopped with a guy called John Brandwood of blazing trails almost near the top of that dam. It’s a real nice descent.

some of those bike packers are gnarly with what they ride. Thankfully, many bike packing bikes can now support 27.5x2.4 2, 29x2.4 and even now 27.5+ and 29+(salsa fargo and kona sutra ltd come to mind) to act as a little suspension. I run my gravel bike as my light XC bike with 29x2 tires & its really fun.
