Good morning to you both. Lovely flowers Mrs H. And very nice shave. Pearl has a new single edge razor out i been seeing pop up on reviews. Im thinking of getting that. Ive finally gotva vintage gillette. A 1956 superspeed i picked up in a local antique shop. Excellent shape. I cleaned it up and used it yesterday as my sotd. Put a derby blade in, and used proraso green soan ad i wanted a soap and blade i was very familiar with. now i see why so many talk up these old razors. I got a bbs shave. Finished it up with another old style splash, skin bracer. You and mrs h have a great sunday

Awesome shave Paul. I just put an AP Shaves 26mm SynBad knot into one of my favorite handles - it is fantastic. I also have a Razor Game Changer and a Mamba 70. Best SS value around.

Hi Paul Good evening that was a really good shave am pretty sure I saw that Arko post shave cream in my local Turkish barbers in the window must check that out and think it was the 1 you used in your video will get on to that ASAP worked well 🙂 My shave of the day pre shave was Proraso pre shave sensitive cream.then Boat drinks soap from Stirling razor was Rockwell 6s Gillette minora blade 2nd use them on the post shave was Witch Hazel no scent boat drinks splash then followed by Clarins super moisture Balm to finish. MOTD was Hot dogs and fries Mustard and Ketchup on the Buns ketchup on the fries nice and simple dinner this evening washed down with a can of Pepsi max. mustard that come already mixed w hot horseradish....thats the way to go (I had it today). That razor, I have had trouble finding a good blade to pair. Will now try half blade of my fav (gillette plat russia) . Have nice weekend , cheers mate. Cool vid.

I would say just the opposite about using the d.e. or s.e. razor at the wrong angle; that the razor at the wrong angle will fail to cut the hair effectively.
