Speaking of Jim Morrison, you showed a brief clip of a middle-aged red haired woman just as you said "Jim's wife Pamela". That couldn't have been her because she died of a heroin overdose in 1974, and she was the only person who really knew what actually transpired on the morning of July 3, 1971.

Just a small note; if you need to include support information, such as suicide prevention, in any of your future videos, you might consider adding info for other countries on your end card too. Not all of your viewers are in the United States. ;)

They don’t “need” to do it, they chose to. And unnecessarily, I think. It just seems like some kind of virtue signaling. But yeah, like someone else said, where do you stop? If you include Portugal and not Zimbabwe, why and why not? Maybe you could collect all that information for the poster?!! I can tell you’re the type to get things done and not merely go “you know what you should DO....” like a lot of folks on the internet.

I don't believe for one minute Sid Vicious said to a copper ' I did it because I'm m a dirty dog' ....bollocks we don't use phrases like that coming from England .The Sex Pistols were actually a really decent bunch of blokes who despised the way our country was going and even performed free in Huddersfield in a tiny club for miners who were out on strike to give their kids a party for Christmas .John Lydon said in tv a couple of years ago that they wanted to show solidarity to the miners families and it was his best ever big !..Never believe the press both sides of the pond,all owned by corrupt arseholes out to sell lies .

From what I understand, Sid was about as close to harmless as you could get. Nancy's mother figured she goaded Sid into stabbing her.

Probably Sid had nothing to do. Nancy was stabbed by some their "friends" after the heated argument about the money.
@JaymeSplendid5 жыл бұрын
Sid's "I did it because I'm a dirty dog" was in response to when he awoke and found her dead, the first thing he did was go to the methadone clinic before calling the police, which was 6 blocks from the crime scene. When asked why he didn't call first, that was his response.

Ritchie Edwards - we discussed him in my PTSD group. Such a classic case. When someone suffers as he did and can actually express the pain in other ways - it makes it so easy to dismiss their suffering as some kind of artistic necessity. My writing (I can't anymore due to an illness that's robbed my of increasing amounts of memory and all my best words) is filled with references to the internal and external issues I was battling throughout my life, from childhood on. My use of stories and storytelling to help abused children deal with their pain was lauded and made in me in demand. But because I had the ability to phrase things poetically no one believed that what I wrote really applied to me. Not that it was my real life. They preferred to believe I was incredibly empathetic, some kind of professional genius. It was the same with Edwards, all the more so given that his talent was making money for many more people than himself or the rest of the band. Management & record execs wouldn't want to insist the goose laying those golden eggs get help, in case he couldn't deliver when he was 'well'. His bandmates, who genuinely seemed to care about him, had their own reasons for not believing he was in that much anguish, for the same reason that many who cared about us (in the group) refused to face it. Because it's awful, and it's a quite natural reaction to turn away from the thought. Especially if the sufferer isn't ramming the message home to the extent that they *have* to. Our take was that it was possible, given the evidence that he had staged his own disappearance, and bloody good luck to him! If he was living a quieter life somewhere else to at least escape the pressures of fame, with all it's attendant dangers, and the expectations of his talent/curse, then good luck to him. We really hoped that was the case. I can't imagine anything worse than fame. I live quietly, with the ghost of my talent and all the old demons still circling me looking for a way in. I walk my dogs on the 'toy farm' where I live, take wildlife photographs, try to keep my ageing body healthy and remember where I put things or when I last ate. With no one watching my every move, waiting for me to fail and ready to pick over my carcass once I do.
@asha47364 жыл бұрын
Bullshit. His manager was a fantastic guy who, with his wife, supported the band infinitely. The band also repeatedly tried to help, paying for treatment themselves.

I really think that Long and Some were having problems. Jim wanted a normal life. Decent wife, children, etc. On was enabling him with his addictions. He really wanted to try to clean up his act. On was responsible for Jim's death. He was going to leave her to find someone else to be with. Sadly, the sometime else never got to be with him. As the old saying goes,, I f I can't have him, nobody else can either!!

I'm pretty sure that isn't Jim's ex, Pamela, at 7:06. For one thing it doesn't look like her but also she died in 1974 and that doesn't look like it's that old. Plus she died when she was 27 and the woman they showed looks a bit older.

Bon Scott was on his back in the car sleeping and spewed. With nobody there to roll him over and with him passed out, he was asphyxiated. It doesn't help that it had been a cold night but it was the vomit he choked on that killed him. Hubby and me have been HUGE AC/DC fans for years and know a few chics who were seeing him (he loved his blondes😏).
