I thought here who should have been a great oportunite for the guys of Bolero band have played with this great guitarrist.His is a legend.There is no one like him.He was the best guitar that the Europe had.

Samwell , i've been following the Europe Band since o was 12 years old.John Norum is great! But he chanded his style.The Norum that i Heard on The Final Countdown doesn't the same anymore.He seems like a blues guitarra player.Kee Marcello didn't change.He keeps playing like the 80 and 90 years. But, i must admit that If he is on Europe now maybe the Band would have finished.But the both are amazing players.

I get what you mean with the blues style Norum has adapted. But Listen to him in present time and i think you will change your mind about it. Norum has perfected the style, and has returned more to the fast and technical solos which was his trademark on the first three albums. But at the same time, he has became much better melodically I think. And also, the thing about Kee being technically better is a big misconception. Kee has a sharper tone and tends to use the scales much more with falsetto, but Norum is actually much faster than him, even more so in present time actually ;)

Reading some of the comments .. As much as love Kee Marcello's Guitar Playing ( Europe ) Recent clips, i think the problem is, him playing a 'Les Paul' ! I dont think it suits his style .. he really needs a 80's type 'Fast' guitar neck, Strat type ... To my ears, and watching, he doesnt seem to play as 'Fluid' on a LP, compared to the Guitars he plays on his Instructional Videos, or the 1987 Hammy O Gig ... Just my personal opinion ! I hope Kee reads this

The guitar that Kee has been playing live for over 10 years is a prototype of a Gibson made under his directives, directly by the American company. Among other things Kee Marcello is a Gibson endorsen. I am one of the Bolero band that played together.
